Srinagar: A court in Srinagar issued summon to Spicejet for alleged non-cooperation in investigation regarding sale of tickets at inflated prices.
An official of Crime Branch told GNS that summon were issued against Sales Head Spicejet North sector. The Case (FIR no. 03/2020, u/s 420,468,471,409,120-B IPC) registered in Crime Branch Kashmir pertains to the sale of tickets at inflated prices to customers through travel agents. In league with airlines staff, the case relates to creating an artificial scarcity of tickets.
“The court has directed the sales manager to produce the relevant data within 15 days failing which a warrant against him will be issued,” the official said. The official said that Spicejet was not co-operating with the investigation process. (GNS)
