COVID: Two more die in Rajouri

Rajouri: Two more persons who were tested positive for Novel Coronavirus died on Wednesday in Rajouri district of Jammu division, officials said.

With two more deaths due to Corona virus in Rajouri, the number of deaths in last three days in the district have reached six. The deceased include a former legislator.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a man in his mid 70s who hails from Banwari village of Kalakote sub division of Rajouri was hospitalised after he received some injuries as he fell inside his house.

He was later tested positive for COVID-19 and died on Tuesday late evening, officials said.

Similarly, another man from a village of Sunderbani sub division of Rajouri was brought at Sunderbani Sub District hospital on Wednesday morning where doctors declared him as brought dead.

“His samples were collected which have been tested positive,” the officials said, adding that the victim was in his 60s.

Earlier, on Monday morning, Former MLA Kalakote and NC leader also died due to Coronavirus whereas a young man from Nowshera, an aged woman from Thanamandi Bhangai and an aged man from Chowkian Darhal have died due to fatal virus in the district since Monday morning —(KNO)
