ADC Stresses on 100% adhaar linkage under CSSs
UDHAMPUR:The performance of banks regarding achievements under Annual Credit Plan 2020-21 and the position of deposits, advances and CD ratio was today reviewed here at DLRC/DCC meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nagendra Singh Jamwal.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Mushtaq Chowdhary; District Information Officer, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia; Chief Agriculture Officer, Convenor, Ramesh Raina; Lead District Manager, SBI, Udhampur, Anil Reshi; Manager RBI, Jammu, Rajesh Kumar; DDM, NABARD Udhampur, Rajesh Gupta; Cluster Head J&K Bank , C.M. Bhat; Chief Manager, SBI, Project Officer, DRDA, DUDA, Director RSETI, BDOs of various Blocks, Bankers and several other district functionaries.
Lead District Manager, Ramesh Raina, informed the meeting that the banks recorded Rs.52036.77 crore deposits and Rs 1750.47 crore advances as on June 30, 2020 . The CD ratio of the district was 33.43%, while the achievement under ACP 2020-21 stood at Rs 128.77 Crore against the annual target of Rs. 1521.44 crore .
The ADC took an extensive review of the Government sponsored schemes with special focus on KCC and PMEGP schemes. He advised the sponsoring agencies to conduct awareness camps in the panchayats in coordination with banks to motivate the people for availing the self employment schemes. He also directed for holding PMJDY camps along with the Financial Literacy Camps in order to ensure 100% Aadhar seeding for DBTs and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna scheme.
The LDM informed the meeting that against 74752 cases sponsored by agriculture department, Banks have sanctioned 71179 KCCs and 50334 cases have been credit linked to the tune of Rs.3165.31 lakh till 30.06.2020.
The ADC advised all the Banks to ensure 100% Adhar linkage of pensioners, PMKISSAN A/cs with KCCs by the end of September 2020.
