ICDS Supervisors appeals for release of pending salaries

Srinagar: ICDS Supervisors on Friday alleged that their salaries have been withheld from last four months without “unknown reason” and appealed authorities to look into the issue on humanitarian grounds.
A delegation of ICDS Supervisors told KNS that they are suffering from acute mental trauma amid pandemic situation as their four months salaries have been withheld by authorities for “unknown reasons”.
They said this is not the first attempt our salaries are not being released on time but has become a routine in the department that left employees into mental trauma.
They appealed authorities to look into the issue and ensure timely release of salary so that employees will come out from present hardships.
Meanwhile, ICDS supervisors of Langate Kupwara alleged that CDPO withdrew his salary of five months while subordinate staff was given only two months at the time of Eid, when Lieutenant Governor assured employees their demands will be addressed.
When KNS contacted Director General ICDS Tariq Ali, he assured the matter will be checked out.
“I will check it out now and try to resolve the issue”, DG said.
Accounts Officer ICDS Vishnukant Sharma, he said the said employees will get two month salary within two to three days. (KNS)
