SRINAGAR: The Divisional Level Single Window Clearance Committee, in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Director Industries and Commerce Kashmir, Mahmood Ahmed Shah, gave nod to establishment of new business units in Kashmir division worth Rs. 87.54 crore.
The Committee approved establishment of first of its kind business unit in the region, for manufacturing of Precise/Prestressed Cement products with a total project cost of Rs.35.28 crore.
Meanwhile, the Committee also accorded approval to establishment of two Controlled Atmosphere Stores, one at Industrial Growth Centre Lassipora Pulwama and another at Industrial estate Rangreth, having total investment of Rs. 17.34 crore and Rs. 34.92 crore respectively.
The establishment of these units will open a new era of opportunities at multiple levels apart from contributing towards employment generation and local economy as well.
