Srinagar: Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha strongly condemned the grenade attack on BJP leader’s house in Rajouri in which a minor child was killed and six others were injured.
Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Peoples Conference (PC) chairman Sajjad Gani Lone have also strongly condemned the attack.
In a tweet on official twitter handle of Lt Governor, Mr Sinha said “ Strongly condemn the cowardly attack in the house of a political leader in Rajouri in which a 2-year old child was killed &others were injured. My deepest condolences to family&prayers for early recovery of injured.Perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice soon”.
Taking to micro blogging site Twitter Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba said “ Condemn the grenade attack in Rajouri in which a four year old child was killed & several others injured. My sympathies with their loved ones.”
Former minister and PC chairman Sajjad said “ Strongly condemn the killing of BJP Sarpanch Ghulam Rasool Dar and his spouse. Yet again a Kashmiri family is a victim of violence. Yet again more addition to the community of orphans and hapless victims of gun. May the killers rot in hell”.
