NSG on 37th Rising Day neutralises IED tiffin bombs dropped by drones by Pak

New Delhi: National Security Guard, a special trained force to deal with terrorism, has neutralized IED Tiffin bombs which were dropped with the help of drones by Pakistan, said NSG on its 37th Rising Day celebrations on Saturday.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday congratulated the NSG force on its 37th Raising Day, tweeting, NSG is a world-class trained force to tackle all facets of terrorism. This formidable force has left no stone unturned to live up to its motto ‘Sarvatra Sarvottam Suraksha’. India is proud of NSG.
“NSG has set up a 60-bed hospital at Manasar during Covid-19 and vaccinated its jawans which is a great work. Apart from security of the country, it does commendable work in the field of society,” said Nityanand Rai, Minister of State (Home), who was the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
“NSG has started third part of Gandiv series to deal with terrorism. Under the Gandiv plan, NSG would establish coordination with all the agencies in case of multiple attacks in different parts of the country at a time,” said MA Ganapathy, Director General, NSG.
As many as 4600 VIPs were protected by NSG Close Protection force commandos, during the elections of five states and one UT, added Ganapathy.
