New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson RP Singh on Monday said appropriate response would be given to the killings of civilians in Kashmir, a day after two migrant workers from Bihar were shot dead by terrorists in Kashmir.
“Army and police are already taking action. Appropriate response would be given to Pakistan, on this side of the border and on the other side of the border as well,” Singh told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting of office bearers of BJP.
The comments come in the wake of a number of killings of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir. Around 11 civilians have been killed in Kashmir by terrorists over last one month.
Those murdered include the principal and a teacher of a government school in Srinagar’s Eidgah area, Supinder Kour and Deepak Chand, 70-year-old Makhan Lal Bindroo, a prominent businessman and the owner of a pharmacy in Srinagar, a street vendor from Bihar Virendra Paswan, and a cab driver Mohd Shafi Lone.
