Night curfew from Thursday in Bihar to curb Corona cases

Patna: Bihar government has decided to impose night curfew in the state besides taking other measures including 50 percent presence of staff in government and private offices from next Thursday till January 21 to curb rising Corona positive cases.

A decision to this effect was taken in a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Latest reports on Corona pandemic scenario in all districts of the state were taken into account before deciding for imposing restrictions to curb Corona positive cases.

Official sources said that night curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM would be imposed from next Thursday

in view of surge in daily Corona positive cases.

Only 50 percent presence of staff would be allowed in government and private offices during the period from January 6 to 21, sources added.

All shops would be allowed to open till 8 PM only. Cinema halls, shopping malls, Gyms, zoo,

parks, stadium, swimming pools and clubs will remain closed. Religious places will remain

closed for devotees and only priests would perform worship of deities.
