Security beefed up at RSS HQ

Nagpur: Security in and around the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters has been beefed up after a ‘terrorist’ arrested in Jammu and Kashmir said he conducted a recce of the building in Nagpur.

In view of the perceived threats, security deployment in areas near the headquarters has been increased.

Raees Sheikh of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), arrested a couple of days back, confessed to have conducted a recce of the Sangh building and some other areas and sent the details to his handlers in Pakistan.

Following that, the Police Commissioner banned photography, video filming and drone cameras near the RSS Headquarters and its surrounding areas.
