Detained Pak national repatriated: BSF

Jammu: A Pakistani national, who was detained after he inadvertently crossed over into the Indian side along the International Border (IB), has been repatriated to the Pakistani Rangers in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir, BSF said.
“Detained Pak national was handed over to Pak Rangers at 0645 pm today on proper receipt through flag meeting,” said Deputy Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), S P S Sandhu.
Earlier, the BSF Spokesman said that the Pak national had crossed over inadvertently to India on the Balhad border this afternoon at about 1300 hours.
“He came about 200 meters inside India. Our alert troops apprehended him,” he said, adding: on preliminary questioning it was found that he crossed inadvertently.
He belongs to the border area of Shakargarh tehsil of Pakistan, spokesman added.
