Kejriwal ‘mastermind’ behind liquor scam: Chaudhary

New Delhi: President of the Delhi unit of Congress party, Anil Kumar Chaudhary on Friday alleged Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that he was the “mastermind” behind the alleged liquor scam.

The statement of the Dehli Congress chief comes in the wake of reports that Kejriwal was summoned by the CBI to appear before it on April 16 in connection with the excise policy case.

“CBI summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear before it on April 16 validates the Delhi Congress assertion from the very beginning that Kejrwal was the mastermind behind the liquor scam. The PA of jailed former Excise Minister Manish Sisodia had disclosed that the controversial liquor policy was formulated at the residence of Kejriwal and it was finalised with his approval,” he said.

Chaudhary added, “The day is not very far, when Kejriwal will be behind the bars for his complicity in the liquor scam.”
