DGP Dilbagh sanctions meritorious scholarship of 1.60 lacs

Srinagar : Director General J&K Police Dilbag Singh on Saturday sanctioned meritorious scholarships to wards of serving police personnel vide an order issued by Police Headquarters J&K.
According to the statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ Srinagar the DGP has sanctioned Rs. 1.60 lacs for 24 meritorious wards who have secured 80% and above marks in the Annual Examination of Class 10th during the academic session 2021-22.
Police in its statement further said that as per the order, Rs 6000 each have been sanctioned in favour of ten meritorious wards who secured 90% and above marks and Rs 4000 each have been sanctioned to fourteen meritorious wards who have secured 80% and above marks.
Stating that the amount has been sanctioned out of the Central Police Welfare Fund. Police Headquarters has been sanctioning scholarships, rewards, welfare loan/ relief for police personnel, wards of slain cops and serving/retired Police personnel under different schemes to boost their morale, Police in it’s statement furthermore said that in 2022 also the Police Headquarters has sanctioned scholarships to 3001 wards of slain cops and deceased/ serving Police personnel/SPOs to the tune of over Rs 1.79 Cr.
Chairman DDC B’gam holds grievance redressal camp at Narbal
DDC Chief Urges youth to actively participated in developmental activities
Budgam : The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan on Saturday held a grievance redressal camp at Block Narbal.
The camp was aimed at providing a platform for citizens to voice their concerns and grievances, and to receive prompt redressal.
The event witnessed a large turnout of youth, who participated actively in the proceedings. In addition to the grievance redressal mechanism, Nazir Ahmad Khan also distributed sports kits to the youth, with the aim of encouraging them to engage in healthy physical activities and sports.
The programme was attended by officers from the Revenue and Rural Development departments, who provided their valuable expertise and assistance in resolving the issues raised by the citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Nazir Ahmad Khan emphasized the importance of such camps in strengthening the relationship between the administration and the citizens. He lauded the active participation of the youth and assured them of prompt and effective redressal of their grievances.
