Eight J&K aspirants clear UPSC Civil Services

Jammu: As many as eight aspirants from Jammu and Kashmir have cracked the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, the results of which have been announced on Tuesday.

A total of 933 candidates are recommended from various categories.
From Jammu and Kashmir, Waseem Ahmad Bhat (from Anantnag) and Parsanjeet Kour (from Poonch) have secured 7th and 11th ranks respectively.

Others who qualified the UPSC are Nittin Singh (32), Naved Ashan Bhat (82), Manan Bhat (231), Irfan Choudhary (476) and Nivranshu Hans (811).
