Congress’ questions big bundle of lies: BJP

New Delhi: BJP on Friday slammed the Congress Party for asking questions on the completion of 9 years of the Narendra Modi government and said these questions are a big “bundle of lies” and culmination of Congress’s “shamelessness”.

Addressing a press conference here, Party’s Spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said that

“Congress is asking questions on corruption but during their reign there were so many big scams

like 2G scam, Commonwealth scam, Adarsh scam, Bofors, space scam, helicopter scam.”

Giving a befitting reply to the questions of the he said, “Congress’s comment on the economy is ridiculous”

“The grand old party has chosen 4C for itself- Cut, Commission, Corruption and Congress”.

Days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to complete nine years in power on May 30, the Congress party on Friday posed nine questions to the BJP-led government.

The Congress released a document titled ‘9 saal 9 sawaal‘ (9 years 9 questions) and said “The prime minister must respond to these nine questions before the BJP begins to celebrate.”.

Ravi Shankar said, “You (Congress) criticize, but at the same time do not weaken the resolve within the country”.

He added that, ‘this is a big insult… to the millions of service personnel, doctors, nurses, sweepers, ambulance drivers… who have saved the country during the covid period”.

Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, he said , “Today India has become the fifth largest economy in the world and defense exports worth Rs 16 thousand crore are being made today…adding that India has become the second largest manufacturer in the world in mobile manufacturing”.
