Jammu: Under re-allocation of departments among administrative secretaries, the Ministry of Home Affairs have transferred and posted Commissioner/ Secretary, GAD, UT of Ladakh, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, (AGMUT:2003) as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India and relieved from Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh.
As per the government order No.258-LA (GAD) of 2023 dated-12.08.2023, Order No:- 266-LA(GAD) of 2023, Dated:-18.08.2023, in accordance with the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), DoPT, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India and relieved from UT Administration of Ladakh.
Further pursuant to MHA order, Michael M. D’Souza, has joined the UT Administration of Ladakh and has been allocated the departments of PWD (R&B), PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Agriculture and Horticulture and Cooperatives.
However, Secretary, UT of Ladakh, Amit Sharma shall also hold the additional responsibilities of Managing Director, Sindhu Infrastructure Development Corporation (SIDCO) Ladakh in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Meanwhile Yetindra Maralkar has been allocated the General Administration Department, UT of Ladakh.
