Aleppo Int’l Airport in Syria out of service after Israeli air strikes

Damascus: Aleppo International Airport in northern Syria is out of service as a result of an air strike launched by Israel, the Syrian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
“At about 4:30 a.m. [01:30 GMT], the Israeli enemy committed air aggression from the Mediterranean Sea west of Latakia against Aleppo International Airport, which led to the destruction of the runway and the airport’s failure,” the ministry said in a statement, as quoted by the Al Ekhbariya broadcaster.
