Srinagar: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Srinagar Rakesh Balwal chaired a crime-cum-security meeting at SSP office in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday.
Sources said that the meeting was convened to discuss the menace of drugs and besides that security scenario and the law and order in Srinagar city was also thoroughly deliberated upon.
In the meeting, all the SPs, DySPs, CPO, SHOs and DOs took part and shared their views regarding the drug menace and other subjects of discussion. “A crime cum security meeting was chaired by SSP Srinagar Rakesh Balwal, IPS in SSP office, Srinagar. This was attended by all SPs, DySPs, CPO, SHOs & DOs. Focus was on combating the menace of drugs with full force of law.
