Both Nitish and Lalu are of feudalistic mentality : BJP alleges

Patna: BJP on Wednesday alleged that both Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav are leaders of feudalistic mentality, having no concern for common man.
BJP Bihar unit President Samrat Chaudhary while addressing a function organised here said that Chief Minister Kumar and RJD Supremo Prasad had been at helm of affairs for the last three decades. Lalu and Nitish became Chief Minister of Bihar with support of BJP but both were trying to take credit of all good works done by party leaders, he added.
“Lalu Prasad kept himself limited to only his family members and gave opportunities to his wife, sons and daughters”, Chaudhary said, adding that Lalu made his wife Rabri Devi, the Chief Minister of Bihar in mid nineties after charges was framed against him in fodder scam.
Similarly, Tejaswi Prasad Yadav was made Deputy Chief Minister and Tej Pratap Yadav was made Minister by Lalu Prasad while he sent his daughter Misa Bharti to Rajya Sabha, he pointed out.
Lalu never thought of giving key posts to outside his family in government and party organisations, he noted.
The BJP state president aid that both Lalu and Nitish were leaders of feudalistic mentality having no concern for common man. Both did not take any concrete steps for welfare of the common man, he added.
The BJP leader said that Centre had every right to change the name of country from India to Bharat. While India did not reflect its root with common man but Bharat had its root in culture of the country, he pointed out.
There was nothing wrong to change the name of India as Bharat, he remarked.
