Have myself seen on ground not even one square inch of our land is occupied by China: Ladakh LG

Jammu: Days after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stated that China has occupied large chunk of land in Ladakh, the Union Territory’s Lieutenant Governor, Brig (retd) B D Mishra on Monday said he has himself seen on the ground that not even one square inch of land is occupied.

“I have seen myself on the ground that not even one square inch of our land is occupied by the Chinese,” the LG Ladakh here told reporters during North Tech Symposium in IIT Jammu.

Refusing to comment on the remarks of Rahul Gandhi, he said, “I will say the fact that not even one square inch of our land is occupied by the Chinese and if anyone is engaging in any misadventure, the armed forces are prepared to give a “bloody nose” to them.”

He said, “our armed forces are prepared for any eventuality and the morale of the forces is very high. The credit to this boost goes to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” UNI
