LG Sinha visits family members of DySP Humayun Bhat for condolences

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited the family members of late DySP Humayun Bhat at their residence in Humhama to express condolences.
Lt Governor Sinha expressed his condolences to the family members and assured the family of all assistance and support from the administration.
“The entire nation stands in solidarity with the family of our braveheart,” Lt Governor said.
Two decorated Army officers, Colonel Manpreet Singh, Commanding Officer of the 19 Rashtriya Rifles, his company commander, Major Aashish Dhonchak, also from the 19 RR, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Himayun Muzamil Bhat, were killed and two other soldiers were injured in a gun battle in the Garool forest of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary; Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and Sujit Kumar Singh, DIG CKR Srinagar were also present.
