Patna: Apparently frustrated and desperate over its two consecutive defeats in Lok Sabha elections, opposition parties are now asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi about his caste , which is not only surprising but also humiliating for him, said senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Sunday.
Modi said that opposition parties were now desperate and frustrated as they had no issues to raise in public after nine years of excellent performance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Level of their frustration could be gauged from the fact that a leader who had been Prime Minister for the last nine years, was being asked by opposition to disclose his caste, he remarked.
BJP leader said that no one had ever asked the caste of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and past life of his mother Sonia Gandhi but PM Modi was being asked in which household his mother had washed utensils. Both JD(U) and RJD had jumped into lap of Congress even though, the party had always insulted backwards, he pointed out.
Modi said that RJD had won just two seats in 2014 Lok Sabha elections and failed to open account in 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. If this attitude continued, opposition parties would be taught a befitting lesson in next Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024, he added.
