Patna: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Rajyasabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi said that instead of waiting for the session of the legislature, the state government should release ward-wise report of caste survey to reveal the truth and actual situation.
Modi said here on Monday that under the situation when questions were being raised on the survey and several castes were feeling cheated, releasing of ward-wise report of caste survey can only purge off the doubts. Releasing of ward wise caste survey report is not tedious because there is no need to do any kind of analysis, Modi added.
The BJP MP alleged that ward wise caste survey report has been secretly provided to the ruling RJD and JDU so that they can prepare their electoral strategies.
He said that according to Caste Survey-2022, the number of Trans Gender under Code-22 in Bihar was 825, whereas in the 2011 census report, the population of the community of Bihar was found to be 40,827. He said the difference itself speaks about the anomalies of the caste survey report.
Modi said that the decision to conduct caste survey in Bihar was taken while BJP was in government and had supported it, but it does not prevent the party from raising any question on the errors, anomalies and on the inconsistencies of the survey.
