Tunis: The United States is leading a war against Palestinian movement Hamas and other Palestinian forces in the Gaza Strip, Khaled Meshaal, the head of Hamas’ political bureau abroad, said on Sunday.
“America is leading this war today and is planning to achieve its goals of defeating Hamas, [the US] is supporting Israel and supplying it with weapons,” Meshaal said in a statement spread by Hamas on social media.
He added that “the occupiers want to crush Hamas and the Gaza Strip,” as well as to deprive the movement of people’s support.
