Jerusalem: As many as 266 people, including 117 children, died in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli shelling over the past 24 hours, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said on Sunday.
“Israeli occupiers carried out 24 massacres in the past 24 hours, killing 266 people, including 117 children, most of whom were from the south of the Gaza Strip,” Al-Qudra told a press conference.
On Friday, the Gaza Health Ministry said that the total death toll from the Israeli strikes against the Gaza Strip had reached nearly 4,400 people, while over 14,200 others had been injured.
