Jammu: Two persons were killed after a truck they were travelling in fell off a bridge in Kathua district on Wednesday, police said.
The truck was on its way to Jammu from Pathankot in Punjab, an official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), adding that the incident took place at Bagiyal Morh near Barnoti of Jammu and Kashmirs’ Kathua district.
The deceased have been identified as Balwant Singh and Ranjeet Singh, both residents of Taran Taran district of Punjab.
The bodies were shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua for post-mortem examination and were handed over to legal heirs for last rites—(KNO)
