Mohali: In a significant development on Saturday, the SAS Nagar police detained three more members of the Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar and USA-based Saba for supplying guns and support to the two gunmen who were just apprehended Manjit alias Guri and Gurpal Singh.
According to DGP Gourav Yadav, five operators have been detained thus far as a result of the investigation into the encounter event that occurred in Zirakpur on November 6 where one member of Goldy Brar Gang was apprehended after he sustained a bullet injury in his leg.
Three foreign-made handguns were retrieved from them, he said.
