Telangana: Nadda urges vote for BJP, promises transformative change

Nizamabad (Telangana): JP Nadda, the All India President of the BJP, appealed to the public to vote for the BJP in order to bring about a positive transformation in the state of Telangana.

Participating in an election campaign in Nizamabad on Thursday, Nadda criticized BRS President and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for allegedly neglecting the sacrifices made by hundreds of youth and prioritizing family interests.

“At the time of the formation of the state, Telangana was the richest with a surplus budget. However, it is now burdened with debt due to family-centric rules. The BJP is the only party capable of challenging family rule not just in Telangana but across the country—be it the Farooq and Mufti families in Jammu and Kashmir, Prakash Singh Badal’s family in Punjab, the Chautala family in Haryana, Lalu’s family in Bihar, Akhilesh’s family in Uttar Pradesh, Karunanidhi’s family in Tamil Nadu, Mamata’s family in West Bengal, Jagan’s family in Andhra Pradesh, and KCR’s family in Telangana,” he asserted.

Nadda emphasized the BJP’s commitment to inclusive development through the motto of ‘Sab ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas,’ which, he claimed, was not on the agenda of other political entities. He expressed concern about Telangana’s high inflation rate and the alleged misallocation of funds released by the Centre.

Highlighting specific issues, Nadda said, “Chief Minister KCR is providing appeasement with a 4 percent reservation, and now they are promising to increase it to 12 percent. We will eliminate religion-based reservations and extend them to those who truly deserve them. The Dharani Portal has become the Harani Portal, grabbing land from farmers. Corruption has led to the sinking of pillars of Medigadda, part of the Rs. 1.2 lakh crore Kaleshwaram project. Even in the Dalit Bandhu scheme, MLAs sought a 30 percent commission. The Miyapur land scam involved the misappropriation of crores of rupees.”

Appealing to the people to vote for the BJP, Nadda highlighted India’s transformation into the fifth-largest economy globally under the leadership of Modi and its trajectory towards becoming the third-largest economy.

He announced plans for the establishment of a turmeric board, the development of processing units, a Rs. 2 lakh deposit after the birth of a girl child, and one percent interest loans for Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

“Vote for the BJP for all-round development and to change the face of Telangana for the better,” he urged.
