Pakistan continued sponsoring terrorism in J&K : Ashok Koul

Srinagar: BJP leader Ashok Koul on Monday said that India has always wished for friendly relations with Pakistan but they continued sponsoring the terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to media persons in Srinagar, Koul said the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee went to Pakistan in a bus and Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke the protocol and went to Lahore from Afghanistan to talk to then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for friendship.

“..And when Prime Minister Modi came back a day after the Pathankot incident took place”, he said on the sidelines of the function to celebrate 99th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at BJP headquarters here.

Koul said such a friendship is never possible by any Prime Minister as Modi showed.

The BJP leader said “terrorism is breathing last in Jammu and Kashmir and forces will finish it once for ever”

Regarding the Assembly election, he said that BJP will win 50 plus seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

“ BJP is doing its work dedicatedly and we are not bothered whether it will bear fruit”, Koul said and added “what much it will bear fruit for us we will take that wholeheartedly”.

He said their aim is to do work dedicatedly and results will automatically come.

“Who was sure that BJP would win elections in Chhattisgarh, he questioned and said, but BJP won 54 seats out of 90 there”. “I firmly believe similarly we will also win plus 50 seats in Jammu and Kashmir in the Assembly elections”, Koul added.
