SRINAGAR: Several prominent youth political activists affiliated with different political parties from Zadibal constituency on Friday joined the Apni Party.
The joining was organized by Apni Party youth leaders Showkat Ahmad Mir and Muzaffar Reshi who welcomed the new entrants on this occasion. Those who joined the party included Irfan Ahmad Zargar, Imtiyaz Hussain, Dr Wajid Ali, Abid Khan, Inayat Ali Dar and Fayaz Ahmad Boto.
Addressing the new entrants, Apni Party youth leader Showkat Ahmad Mir said that the youth of J&K are a worst hit lot of the decades old conflict and their aspirations need to be heard in a purposeful manner.
He said that J&K’s youth have time and again proved their mettle not only at state, national but international levels and that potential needs to be channelized in a more positive comportment.
Apni Party youth leader, Muzaffar Reshi, who also addressed the newly joined youth activists observed that Apni Party under the leadership of its president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has emerged as a credible political platform which believes in a rationalistic approach to bring a change on the ground.
On this occasion, the new entrants to the Apni Party pledged to work for the holistic development of Zadibal constituency besides putting in their best to strengthen the Party’s cadre at grass root level. “So far the Zadibal constituency has witnessed a complete neglect and an apathetic attitude of its political representatives. We are of firm belief that things are going to change under the leadership of the Apni Party,” the new entrants observed.
