Chennai: India cements limited today announced that on standalone basis, it has reported a net profit of Rs 21.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30 as against Rs.71.43 crore in the same quarter in 2020-21.
A company release issued after a meeting of its Board of Directors today said the total revenue improved to Rs 1193.35 crore compared to Rs 1075.45 crore.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 59.39 crore during the first half of the current fiscal ending September 30 as against Rs 88.39 crore. Total income came to Rs 2218.89 crore ( Rs 1835.77 crore).
The capacity utilization during the second quarter improved to 61 per cent from 54 per cent during the same quarter last year.
