DLF distribute free tabs to school students

Chennai: In an endeavor to supplement the evolving educational and learning needs of school students, DLF Foundation, the philanthropic arm of India’s real estate giant DLF Limited, today distributed electronic tablet devices to over 69 school students from underprivileged sections in the city.
The tabs were distributed at an event held at DLF Cyber City by Mr Shailesh Kumar Yadav, ADGP Welfare, in the presence of Dr.Yashwanth Kumar Venkataraman, Honorary Consul of the Republic
of El Salvador and Mr David Amalraj, Senior Vice President-Operations South, DLF Limited.
The tabs were given to students belonging to the age group of 8 to 17 years.
The primary objective of this initiative was to facilitate the diverse educational requirements of students, especially in the wake of the pandemic. In the new normal, online classrooms have not
only become predominant, but also a dire necessity. To that end, owning smart devices has become imperative for all students, a DLF release said.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shailesh Kumar Yadav said distribution of free electronic tablets to school children will definitely facilitate their online classes and help them continue their education.
