Jammu: One Border Security Force personnel was killed, and six others suffered injuries as vehicle ferrying them plunged into a deep gorge on Sunday in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that one truck ferrying jawans and official gypsy fell into a deep gorge leaving seven personnel injured.
“Locals and police rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation,” they said adding that injured were rushed to the hospital.
One of the injured succumbed due to critical head injury, said police.
