PM Modi holds impressive roadshow in Bareilly

Bareilly (UP): Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a massive roadshow here on Friday evening.
A wonderful confluence of folk culture was seen in the road show on the occasion. The PM was welcomed with drums and conch shells at various places. The roadshow of about 1.25 kilometres lasted for around 45 minutes during which people came in large numbers to see Modi.
This was the first time that a PM had held a public roadshow in Bareilly. Therefore a large number of people came to the programme considering it a historic moment.
Modi reached near the Swayamvara Barat Ghar in Rajendra Nagar at around 6:30 pm and boarded the saffron-coloured vehicle, christened “Vijay Rath” there. CM Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Bhupendra Chaudhary, MP Santosh Kumar Gangwar and BJP candidate Chhatrapal Gangwar were present with him.
The atmosphere echoed with slogans like ‘Namo, Namo’ and Abki Baar 400 paar. At many places people had written slogans like Jai Shri Ram on their houses.
During the roadshow, the PM along with Yogi and MP Santosh Gangwar greeted people with the lotus election symbol and torch in their hands. Everyone wanted to take selfies and come closer but due to tight security arrangements, no one could reach the road show route.
A large number of saffron flags and posters of Nath Nagari were also installed on both sides of the route. The entire atmosphere was filled with Ram with songs like ‘Jo Ram Ko Laaye Hai’. UNI
