Ganderbal: With the reopening in schools in Kashmir after the long Covid break, Gloss Foundation today came up with its first district level school Quiz Contest activity at Townhall Ganderbal.
Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Shri Khurshid Ahmad Shah-JKAS was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed trophies, mementos and certificates among the participants.
In the final of the Quiz Competition, Vijay Memorial Educational Institute secured 1st, New Tiny Hearts 2nd and New Dream Land Edu Institute concluded at 3rd position.
Addressing the students, the Chief Guest impressed upon the participants to focus on their studies which should not be limited to their text books. He said the schools play basic building of the students but they require more focus and concentration to learn new and important things from all subjects and happenings around them. Chief Guest said carving way and preparing self for the competitive Exams and aptitude tests lead us to success and prosperity. He said survival of life is to study and look for achieving higher reaches in career. The 2001 batch JKAS officer assured participants and the organisers full support in disseminating knowledge and experience in career counseling leading to Civil Services.
Founder-Director Gloss Foundation Shah Aijaz Ahmad while elaborating the aim of conducting such programs said that the organisation is working to promote educational reforms to motivate youth towards better career opertunities. He said chanellizing the youth energies towards Civil Services and other competitive Exams is one the main aspects of the functioning of Gloss. He said the organisation is working in the fields of Health, Skill Development, Sports, career counseling and all other social welfare activities.
