Congress Manifesto a replica of Jinnah’s Muslim League agenda: Nadda

New Delhi: Taking a dig at Congress’ Manifesto BJP President JP Nadda alleged that it is difficult to know whether it is the manifesto of Congress or Muslim League.

In a statement, JP Nadda said, “The Congress manifesto is a blueprint for division, a blatant replica of Jinnah’s Muslim League agenda”

“By prioritizing appeasement politics over national unity, the Congress seeks to perpetuate division. India has rejected such divisive politics before and will do so again” Nadda alleged.

The Congress manifesto was released in New Delhi on April 5th, focuses on job creation, and infrastructure development, and also features the party’s promise of a caste census.

The manifesto also promises the right to apprenticeship, a legal guarantee for MSP, and passing a constitutional amendment to raise the 50 percent cap on reservations for SCs, STs, and OBCs.

The BJP President said, the BJP stands firm against this dangerous path to polarization and remains committed to inclusive governance for all.

“Congress will have to give an explanation of the way it has spoken about appeasement and reservation in its manifesto” he further added.

On Saturday, April 6th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his rally at Ajmer termed the Congress manifesto a “bundle of lies” and alleged that the document was full of ideas of Muslim League and leftists.

“Every page of the Congress manifesto is a glimpse of disintegrating India. The manifesto of Congress reflects the thinking of the Muslim League at the time of independence. Congress wants to impose the ideas of the then Muslim League on today’s India,” said Prime Minister Modi.
