Srinagar: Security forces on Wednesday apprehended two individuals and recovered arms and war-like stores in Jammu Kashmir’s Anantnag district.Army said that on specific Intelligence input, a joint operation was launched by the troops and Jammu and Kashmir Police at Naina Bijbehara in south Kashmir.
“On specific Intelligence input, a joint operation was launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice on 17 Apr at Naina, Bijbehara in Anantnag,” Army posted on X.
“During the operation, two suspected individuals have been apprehended along with the recovery of one weapon, a hand grenade and other war-like stores”, Army posted.
Further investigation is in progress, they said. UNI
