About 15000 aspirants appear in NEET in Kashmir

Srinagar: As many as 15000 aspirants appeared in the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination at 31 exam centres across the Kashmir valley on Sunday.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat undertook a visit to NEET Centers in the district Srinagar to have first-hand appraisal of the facilities made available for smooth conduct of the examination.
The DC inspected various examination centers including S P College, Amar Singh College where he enquired about the facilities made available for the students and inspected the arrangements.
It was informed that about 15000 aspirants appeared in the NEET examination at 31 exam centres.
During the visit, the DC expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the concerned authorities
The authorities had deployed Magistrates at all the examination centers besides District Police had also put in place all necessary security arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination, an official spokesman said.
